Temple Legal Protection Ireland is seeking a motivated professional to join our Dublin based underwriting team. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your career in litigation costs insurance, working closely with our Solicitor and Underwriting Director for Ireland/EU.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate Civil, Commercial, Personal Injury, and Medical Negligence cases for litigation costs insurance.
- Collaborate with solicitor clients to manage insured cases effectively.
- Develop underwriting skills, managing risk in line with company guidelines.
- Foster strong relationships with solicitor firms across Ireland, driving new business opportunities.
- Represent the company at legal conferences, promoting our legal costs insurance products.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year PQE (if from a Solicitor/Barrister background) or 2 years of underwriting experience in a common law jurisdiction.
- Strong organisational and case management skills, with the ability to prioritise.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with attention to detail.
- Experience in business development and public speaking is a plus.
